Yes, we understand that travelling into the The Spot. Physio for Kids clinic is not always possible or it is more suitable to provide therapy services in the home. Please note there may be a travel fee associated with home visits, see our services and fees here.

Please bring any relevant correspondence, results or reports from other medical professionals involved in your child’s care.
Wear comfortable clothing that is not restrictive and allows thorough assessment of movement quality. Superhero outfits optional.

Most sessions at The Spot. Physio for Kids will be between 45 to 90 minutes in duration depending on the nature of the appointment. This can be discussed prior to appointment if you have concerns.

If your child has a chronic health condition or complex care needs, then there may be funding options available.
Medicare rebates
Chronic disease management plan – Medicare rebates are available for people with a chronic health condition for up to five (5) eligible allied health sessions per calendar years. Further information is available here or consult your GP. A GP referral is necessary for this service.
NDIS funding
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides support and funding to kids with developmental delays and disability. The Spot, Physio for Kids currently sees self-managed and plan-managed participants of the NDIS.
We are also available to provide assessments and reports to support your child’s eligibility and funding under the NDIS.

Yes, if you have private health insurance you may be eligible for a rebate. Please check with your insurer to find out if your child is covered when you visit The Spot. Physio for Kids.
